About the Region
Ashford:
Ashford is a thriving market town with a new International Rail Terminal and the Channel Tunnel providing easy access to London and the Continent. Delightful unspoilt villages in rolling wooded countryside lie to the west and the lush pastures of the Romney Marsh, with ancient churches, meandering streams and grazing sheep lie in the south. The Kent coastline is dotted with sandy beaches.
Tonbridge & Sevenoaks:
Tonbridge & Sevenoaks has more woodland than any other county in the UK, making it a wonderful place to explore. At the foot of the South Downs nestle picturesque villages with tiny Saxon flintstone churches and timbered country pubs. This lovely county provides the holiday maker with castles, beautiful gardens and National Trust properties. There are plenty of family attractions and of course, the wonderful Ashdown Forest which is an ideal for walking, horse riding and cycling destination.
Maidstone:
