Suffolk Secrets are pleased to offer a range of
personally selected quality self catering
holiday cottages throughout Suffolk.
One of our lovelier and perhaps less well known counties,
Suffolk will mean many things to many people.
Perhaps you will think first of Suffolk's beautiful countryside,
the result of centuries of agricultural heritage. And with
that, surely, you will see in your mind's eye the many magnificent
'wool' churches, and the powerful Suffolk Punches, the mighty
heavy horses that helped make the county so agriculturally
prosperous in past times.
But also do not forget the lovely forty miles of Heritage
Coast, known too, as the 'Saxon shore' after our Saxon and
Viking invaders that came this way in the first millennium.
From sleepy Southwold in the north, with its famous lighthouse,
and equally well known beach huts, see sleepy Walberswick
and Blythburgh. Then to Minsmere, one of the country's best
known bird reserves, and on to Aldeburgh and Snape, internationally
famous for its music festivals, from opera to jazz.
